Ravings of a Mad Man: vol. 4.03

Ravings of a Mad Man: vol. 4.03

It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid then open it and remove all doubt

-Mark Twain

Many of you probably thought.  "Hippie he stopped writing these things."  But I hate to tell that I did not.  Rather I planned ahead.  I decided to wait until today to write this week's for two reasons.  First Jenny and I will be out of town next Monday so I didn't want to deprive you of me too much.  Second we had the ultra sound to tell us what gender our baby is today.  So I just wanted to wait so I could tell you all that just because the man can grow a thick beard that mocks all who try and grow beards doesn't mean that that man will produce boys.  Alas I have planted a girl inside of my wife.  Luckily we already had agreed on a girl's name for baby.  So now we know that the baby will be called Gwyneth Jones.  Middle name pending, if we decide to insert a middle name.  So anyway I was somewhat sure, after seeing my beard, that we would have a boy but God had another trick up his sleeve.  A girl we shall have.  The ultrasounder said that she did a great job posing for the camera.  So now I know that she is mine.  She was wearing some Jazz apparel.  So that is good, she is a sporto.

Trivia Time:  A lot of people love these Disney trivia questions so I guess I should start to make them harder.  This week's question is in The Little Mermaid how many thingamabobs does Ariel have?

Beat the Odds Tip: Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

So this is the last week of school and I am loving every minute of it.  After today I only have one more final!  And three more to graduate!  You know in the movies when they show the college kids studying really hard for finals?  Yeah I thought that college would be exactly like that.  Just study, study, study away through the midnight hours.  But I guess either I am too smart for the classes I am taking or too lazy.  I would say that I am too lazy.  Also all of the classes I have now the teachers say something along these lines, "In the real world you will have reference material so you can reference material for the test."  This is awesome.  I love having something to look at to tell me the answer rather then have to think them up myself.  Who wants to do that?  I hope that all of you are having a good time with this Christmas season as am I.  I think that as you get older Christmas takes on a new meaning and you can do different things.  Like open your gifts before Christmas, because come on who is going to stop you?  Your moms?  I don't think so.  One last thought does anybody else see the crazy irony in the fact that in a short little while I am going to have to tell another human what is right or wrong?  Maybe not irony, maybe just a big flaw in the plan.

Have a good week I know I will.
