Ravings of a Mad Man: vol. 4.31 (5 day weekends should be the norm)

Ravings of a Mad Man: vol. 4.31

It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid then open it and remove all doubt

-Mark Twain

All good things have to come to an end. After I terrorized every horse shoe game I've played I have to inform you that alas I have been beaten. After jumping out to a 10-0 lead we couldn't keep the game in our control. We ended up losing 21-20. It was not a bright day. However, I did go on to win the next two games I played in ol' Eric fashion. All in all we can't go through life always winning. What does that teach us, that we are winners? Well we aren't all winners just some of us are and the rest of you are just semi-winners. As I sit here at my computer after my five day weekend, I can't help but wonder why we work. Life is so awesome not working. While I was at home, I was able to bond with my daughter as she cheered me on in my attempt to beat the Dark Wizard Ganon. I used to be able to beat him in under 3 hours, however since I am little bit older and not wiser it took me over four hours to finally obtain the silver arrows and other necessary equipment to slay this evil foe. However, I think Mr. Burns said it best when he spoke of his fortune he said, "I'd trade it all in for a little more." I would like to take that quote and project it into my life and say, "I'd trade in my five day weekend for a little more time off." Holidays are pretty awesome. Is it possible to create more holidays?

Trivia Time: I have determined that the amount of wrongs that make a right is a range. 2>wrongs< . This week's question is why is it every time we talk about what the Jazz need to do we don't talk about the real problem, Jerry Sloan?

Beat the Odds Tip:  Life is full of ups and downs the key is to take the good with the bad.

Late lunch means I got the latest in the Jazz blizzard. Carlos wants to be traded. Good trade him get enough money in the trade to keep Milsap and get somebody as good or better than Milsap. Anyway you spin it the Jazz need somebody that will play with their back to the basket otherwise we have just become the Warriors with a coach that doesn't allow his players to run anything but the pick and roll on offense. If you deviate from this game plan you will be benched. Anyway, keep reaching for the stars and they will be in our grasps.

Have a good week I know I will
