Ravings of a Mad Man: vol. 5.6 (Reading is Fundamental)

Ravings of a Mad Man: vol. 5.6

It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid then open it and remove all doubt

-Mark Twain

One week left and I am wrapping it all up. I have it all set up and the models are working like they should. The writing is coming along and I am having fun doing it. I don't know what I am going to do with myself when it is all said and done. I guess I will have to take up a hobby that will consume my time. Although after I am done writing I do have to create a presentation for the defense of my thesis but that shouldn't take too long. Soon enough I will be able to devote all of my brain power to unlocking the mysteries of Lost. Is anyone else a little bit mad about the season premiere? I know I am. I thought that this season was going to start answering questions. Another problem is that I don't really remember all of the stuff from the earlier seasons. This has inspired me to have a Lost marathon in the near future. I think that it would be complete waste of time but in the end I would be a self proclaimed Lost expert. All Lost questions would be answered or made up by me.

Trivia Time: Last week's answer is 200 times then the words no longer have meaning. This week's question is what was the best Super Bowl halftime show ever? (We know it is not the Who.)

Beat the Odds Tip: Fighting is only a good idea if you can win

If you haven't heard the Wii will soon be able to stream internet TV directly to your TV. So now the reason to have a Wii just went up by one. You have to get a disc but you can get it free from Netflix if you are member, which we are. Oh H yeah is all I can say about that. Now I don't have to sit on our computer chair to watch the episodes of Fringe I missed. Jenny and I are super excited. In fact after her brother told me about it all I wanted to do was to validate his claim. We did and since then we have been walking on sunshine. The other reasons for owning a Wii are Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros, and all the old Nintendo games you can download to your Wii system. I am salivating just thinking about playing the Wii right now. I have often thought about what I would grab if I were at home and a fire broke out in our house. So I have a compiled a list of items I would grab. They are in order of most important to lesser important. (I am assuming Jenny can grab herself and get out but if she can't then she would be number one on the list)

  1. Gigi
  2. Roscoe (Frankie which ever is closer)
  3. Frankie (Roscoe which ever is further away)
  4. Hard Drive with all pertinent information
  5. Wii
  6. Pudding
  7. I would try and get the entertainment center but it is heavy
  8. Clothes (I don't care if I am in my skivvies as long as I have Jenny, Gigi, Roscoe, Frankie, and my Wii)

Have a good week I know I will

To your comment on my blog: If Gigi had the priesthood it might have saved us a trip to the hospital. Thank her for trying though. It may have been worse without her blessing!! I heard that Gigi is taking steps!! Way to go Gigi. She is so cute. I am glad that she hasn't gotten sick.
